Thanks to all of you who joined us on the prayer line this morning! It always warms my heart to know that there are disciples of Jesus Christ who are hungry for God and desire to spend time in prayer and fellowship! Remember that we are on the prayer line every Tuesday morning at 6:00 Eastern, and you are more than welcome to join us! You may submit your prayer requests on our website at any time by clicking here.
As we continue our “Walking Under an Open Heaven” series, I just want to remind you all of a few things as you go out today and the rest of the week making an impact for the Kingdom of God:
STRIP! Get rid of your carnal mindset. Remember that as disciples of Jesus Christ, we are supposed to be more spiritual than carnal. We should focus on the spiritual things about this walk and not allow the cares of this world to distract us or contaminate our minds. Sometimes we even have to strip relationships. If the people in our lives aren’t going where we are trying to go in God, we cannot allow them to hold us back.
Remain confident in the fact that EVERYTHING our Father owns, we own. It is easy for us to look at what others have and wonder why we do not have the same things at this point in our lives. However, we must remember that what God has for others is for them, and what God has for us is for us. No matter how much you see other people with, Heaven has more! The Bible instructs to “seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:33)
There is NO BARRIER, BLOCKAGE OR HINDRANCE for the believer! Jesus has done it ALL. It is a finished work. Everything has already been accomplished on your behalf. The only thing you have to do is walk by faith and not by sight (II Corinthians 5:7) and know that it is already done. Remember that no matter where you are, Christ is already there. David said, “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.” (Psalm 139:7-8)
You are already set up to win! The victory is already yours. 2017 is the Year of Manifestation! It’s the year of COMPLETE VICTORY! That ought to have you smiling and rejoicing!
We would LOVE to see you at Bible Study tomorrow evening at 7:00! We always have such an awesome time learning and sharing the Word of God. We will be continuing to talk about discipleship and how amazing this walk with Jesus can truly be! You are more than welcome to join us!
Have a great, great, GODLY day! Join me on Thursday for three more things to remember! We love you!
Then the angel[a] showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb2 through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life[b] with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.3 No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him.4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.5 And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.
Jesus Is Coming
6 And he said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show his servants what must soon take place.”
7 “And behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me,9 but he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”
10 And he said to me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.11 Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.”
12 “Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done.13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”
14 Blessed are those who wash their robes,[c] so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates.15 Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”
17 The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book,19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all.[d] Amen.
“The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine,’ declares the Lord of hosts.9 ‘The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘and in this place I shall give [the ultimate] peace and prosperity,’ declares the Lord of hosts.” – Haggai 2:8-9
“As God’s partners, we beg you not to accept this marvelous gift of God’s kindness and then ignore it. For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.”
18This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about : His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit.
19Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.
20But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.
21She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”
22All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet:
23“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).
24When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife.
25But he did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.
