Galatians 5:1 (KJV)

“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”

“Freedom is what we have–Christ has set us free! Stand, then, as free people, and do not allow yourselves to become slaves again.”

• Even though we are physically free, we can be bound in our minds.

  • And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

  • “Do not conform yourselves to the standards of this world, but let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. Then you will be able to know the will of God–what is good and is pleasing to him and is perfect.”
• When God sets us free, it is important that we don’t go back into bondage.  When you pay off a debt, don’t go and get another debt.

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

• God is looking for cheerful givers!  Giving is a matter of the heart.

When you start to realize how much God loves you, everything about your life will change.

• When your treasure is in the Lord, your heart is with the Lord.  Because your heart is in the right place, God is able to bless you.
