It’s All Because of Love
Good morning to our amazing online community! I pray everyone is doing well on this cold, good, godly Monday! I am so grateful to God for allowing us all to see another day!
For just a moment, I want to speak to you about the love of God. Do you realize that everything we have and everything we are able to do is because of the love of God? It is the love of God that saved us, empowers us, and allows grace and mercy to operate in our lives. It is also the love of God that draws people to Him.
“Long ago the LORD said to Israel: ‘I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.'” – Jeremiah 31:3 (New Living Translation)
The love of God fights and wins our battles for us.
“It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your face, for You loved them.” – Psalm 44:3 (New International Version)
The love of God is something that we should always be grateful for, because as the song states, “When nothing else could help, love lifted me.” Think about how far you were from God and how His love lifted you out of your despair and hopelessness. Isn’t that just amazing?
Now, let’s take it a step further. Inasmuch as the love of God does all of that for us every day, we should be extending that same love to others. Think about it:
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” – John 13:34-35 (New International Version)
We are COMMANDED to love one another. This is the only way that the world will see that we are disciples of Jesus Christ. Remember from last week’s post: “Every disciple is a believer, but not every believer is a disciple.” (Greg Laurie) We should be striving to be disciples of Christ, and this starts with love!
So, as you go throughout your day and your week, I admonish you to receive the love of God and to show that love to others. Remember this:
“Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.” – I John 4:20 (New International Version)
Showing the love of God isn’t always easy, but it is always required. Have an amazing Monday, and let’s show the love of God everywhere we go and to everyone we meet! If loving Jesus Christ and you is wrong, I will NEVER be right! – Pastor Audrey

Amen Love is a powerful thing. Jesus was not only the word in human form but he was also 100% Love. So we must realize Love is powerful tool that can change the world.
